INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN PILOTS

The Ninety-Nines was founded by a group of 99 licensed women pilots in 1929 to provide mutual support and advancement of aviation.  The organization remains vibrant and relevant today, and aims to:

  • Promote world fellowship through flight,
  • Provide networking and scholarship opportunities for women, and aviation education in the community,
  • Preserve the unique history of women in aviation.


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Our August meeting will be hosted by Ms. Donna at the Shelbyville airport.  There will be a picnic lunch following the meeting, and a presentation from Indianapolis ATCT controller and CFI Mr. Dean Brown.  You don’t want to miss it!
